Abstract

Menstruation can sometimes pose a pathological risk what if it is associated with disruption of daily activities during menstruation, women sometimes experience pain of the nature and level of pain. A state of severe pain can sometimes leave work or daily activities performed by women. One of the nonpharmacological management to reduce menstrual pain (dysmenorhea) is yoga. Yoga is a type of relaxation technique that can reduce pain by relaxing the skeletal muscles that are experiencing spasms and increasing blood flow to the area that experiences spasm. The purpose of this activity is to increase young women's knowledge about Yoga to reduce menstrual pain. The method used in this activity is through counseling on menstrual pain and yoga as well as demonstrating Yoga movements to reduce menstrual pain. The result of this activity is the increasing knowledge of puti teenagers about yoga movements to reduce menstrual pain and young women are already able to perform yoga movements. The conclusion of this activity is that there is an increase in young women's knowledge about yoga to reduce menstrual pain
