Abstract

Reproductive health is defined as a condition of overall health both physical, social and mental well-being that is intact in all respects related to the functions, roles and reproductive processes possessed by adolescents. Reproductive health in women is inseparable from the health of intimate organs. Of course, we need to realize that maintaining reproductive health is very important. One of maintaining health is from healthy associations and not carrying out promiscuous sex because this will have a bad impact. Nowadays, many teenagers have engaged in promiscuous sex, making them vulnerable to pregnancy outside of marriage. Teenagers who have become pregnant out of wedlock, they will find a way to have an abortion where the impact of an unhealthy abortion will be able to damage the reproductive organs of the teenager. Community service activities in the form of health counseling on the impact of abortion on reproductive health in public high schools 5 padangsidimpuan cities in 2022. The participants of this community service activity were 30 teenagers. The method of implementing this community service activity is carried out through counseling on the impact of abortion on reproductive health. It is recommended that health counseling for adolescents continue on an ongoing basis so that participants' interest and awareness increase to participate in health counseling, and participants' knowledge increases about the importance of maintaining a healthy life in preparation for motherhood towards a healthy pregnancy.
