PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN SISWA TENTANG PEMANFAATAN DAN PENGOLAHAN TANAMAN OBAT KELUARGA(TOGA) MENJADI PRODUK JADI OBAT TRADISIONAL DALAM KESEHATAN BERNILAI EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 5 KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Abstrak

Family medicinal plants (TOGA) are several types of selected medicinal plants that can be grown in the home or home environment. Introduction and optimal utilization of traditional medicine for students can be done by planting family medicinal plants on school grounds. The name of this community service activity is to increase students' knowledge about the utilization and processing of family medicinal plants (TOGA) into finished products of traditional medicine in the health of economic value at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan City. The purpose of this activity is to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of family medicinal plants in schools and become finished products of traditional medicine in the health of economic value. This community service involved 39 female students. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test sheets. It was then analyzed using frequency distribution for demographic data and graphs for pre-test and post-test values. The results of community service showed an increase in student's knowledge by 35.9% because at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan subjects related to natural materials and the development of Green House for TOGA cultivation. This skill increase is very significant at 74.4%. This is because the formula of TOGA processed products made in this study is simple, the ingredients are easy to get and easy to practice by students who become finished products of traditional medicine in the health of economic value.
