The World Health Organization (WHO) sets a tolerance limit for the incidence of stunting (short stature) at a maximum of 20% or one-fifth of the total number of toddlers. It is recorded that Indonesia suffers from stunting as much as around 35.6% of the 23 million toddlers and WHO determines Indonesia as a country with poor nutritional status. One of the main factors for the high stunting problem in Indonesia is poor nutritional intake since the fetus is still in the womb (pregnancy period), from newborn, until the child is two years old. Malnutrition in the first two years of life can cause irreversible brain damage, which makes the nutritional investment in 1,000 non-negotiable. Karanganyar Regency still has a potential risk of stunting still at 5%, meaning that five out of 100 births in Karanganyar have the potential to experience stunting or the condition of a child's height being shorter than the average at their age. The counseling activity of efforts to increase the knowledge of mothers of toddlers through counseling on stunting prevention with booklet media at Posyandu Kasih Ibu Bolon Colomadu received good enthusiasm from the mothers participating in the counseling with an increase in knowledge coupled with action and the desire to make efforts to prevent stunting by providing nutritious food to their toddlers.
