PENYULUHAN DAN PEMERIKSAAN GULKOSA DARAH DAN ASAM URAT PADA LANSIA DI DESA SUMBER MELATI KECAMATAN SUNGGAL KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG TAHUN 2023

Abstract

Counseling activities and checking blood glucose and uric acid in the elderly are part of empowerment in providing information to the elderly. This activity is carried out with its own self-sufficiency and is carried out voluntarily to devote itself to the community.  The results of the activities carried out went well and smoothly in accordance with the initial objectives of implementing counseling activities. The counseling discussed the prevention of diabetes. In this counseling, it has been conveyed about diabetes mellitus and its effects on the body. As well as what foods are needed and what should be avoided for residents who have diabetes. Thus, after the counseling and examination of blood glucose and uric acid in the elderly in Sumber Melati Village, the elderly are more obedient and disciplined in maintaining their health and can maintain their prevention ability as much as possible.
