Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth is an emotionally involving process and an unforgettable event that needs to be addressed with positivity. The process of pregnancy that will end with childbirth is often haunted by the perception that this process is very risky and needs serious handling. Pregnant women will usually experience various discomfort problems during their pregnancy such as experiencing sleep disorders, this incident will increase as the mother's gestational age increases, namely in the third trimester. Light yoga exercise in pregnant women is one of the exercises that can be done to overcome the discomfort of sleep disorders in pregnant women. Yoga is a complete sports movement, by combining stretching and strengthening movements so that the body becomes stronger and more flexible. This activity is carried out by providing counseling to normal pregnant women, namely about the understanding, benefits, and contra indications of yoga exercises then continued with guidance on yoga exercises. Pregnant women who participated in yoga exercises were very excited and enthusiastic about following the movements taught by the yoga exercise trainer because they felt the effects of the yoga exercises directly, and promised to repeat them at home.
