Abstrak

Pregnancy carries many risks, although these risks are necessary. Complications may occur in the mother or child. Pregnancy risks include excessive nausea and vomiting, ectopic pregnancy, high blood pressure, and other risks. One of the efforts that can be made by pregnant women to overcome these discomforts is to do light exercise, especially Yoga in pregnant women. Yoga practice can help mothers prepare their minds and body to face labor and birth because this exercise helps mothers to focus, concentrate and stay healthy. Yoga postures are a good way to keep the mother's body active and supple and minimize common pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness and constipation. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about the benefits of yoga in pregnancy to overcome maternal discomfort during pregnancy. The method of implementation is carried out by providing counseling and teaching pregnant women to do some yoga movements that can help mothers to reduce and eliminate discomfort during their pregnancy. After doing yoga together with pregnant women, mothers feel relaxed and comfortable and feel the aches and pains of the mother's back and waist are reduced. Pregnant women's yoga activities run smoothly and pregnant women feel happy and are able to follow and do the yoga movements taught to them.
