Abstract

Preeclampsia is a symptom that arises in pregnant, maternity, and postpartum women consisting of hypertension with blood pressure ≥ 140/90 mmHg, edema, and proteinuria 300 mg of protein in 24-hour urine but shows no signs of vascular abnormalities or previous hypertension, while symptoms usually appear after 28 weeks of pregnancy or more. The problem of preeclampsia in pregnant women is still very concerning because there is still a high maternal mortality rate during pregnancy caused by Preeclampsia, from this, it is necessary to do counseling about preeclampsia in pregnant women, for early prevention of preeclampsia handling so that there is no mortality caused by preeclampsia.
