Abstract

Stunting or short is a condition where a person's height is shorter than the height of other people in general (who are the same age). Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time. This is caused by inappropriate feeding of nutritional needs. The problem of short toddlers describes the existence of chronic nutritional problems that are influenced by the condition of the mother/future mother, fetal period, and infancy/toddlerhood, including diseases suffered during toddlerhood. Stunting prevention is closely related to the success of the First 1000 Days of Life (1000 HPK). 1000 HPK begins when the baby is in the mother's womb until it is 2 years old. Prevention of stunting in pregnant women can be done in various ways, namely meeting the intake needs of pregnant women and the needs of additional intake of pregnant women in accordance with the trimester of pregnancy.
