WHO has set a goal by 2025 that at least less than 50% of newborns up to six months are exclusively breastfed. Insufficient breast milk is the main reason for a mother to stop breastfeeding early, the mother feels that she does not have sufficient milk production to meet the baby's needs and support adequate baby weight gain because breast milk does not come out or its production is not smooth. Oxytocin massage has several benefits that are very helpful for mothers after childbirth and can also reduce physical discomfort and improve mood. Massage carried out along the spine can relax the tension in the back and relieve stress so that it can facilitate the release of breast milk. Meanwhile, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, oxytocin massage can reduce swelling, reduce blockage in breast milk, and maintain milk production when mother and baby are sick. The type of research used is quantitative, which is research conducted with the aim of making an objective description or description of a situation. The results of data collection on individuals and families where the number of breastfeeding mothers were 30 people, carried out with counseling and using a tool in the form of a questionnaire to measure the mother's knowledge, and it was found that the knowledge of mothers about the benefits of oxytocin massage in increasing breast milk production was mostly 29 people (96.7). %), the minority with sufficient knowledge is 1 person (3,3%) and there is no good knowledge (0%).
