HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN SIKAP DAN PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN APD DI PABRIK ROTI SIDADI

Abstrak

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool that has the ability to protect a person whose function is to isolate part or all of the body from potential dangers in the workplace. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes and behavior in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at the Cinta Rasa Sidadi Roti Factory, Batang Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2023. Type of Network Study Quantitative description with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample in the study were 32 respondents. The measuring tool uses a questionnaire, analyzed using the chi square test. The bivariate test results show that there is no relationship between knowledge and behavior in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the Cinta Rasa Sidadi Roti Factory, Batang Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2023 (p-value = 0.214), and there is no relationship between attitude and behavior in using Personal Protective Equipment (APD) at the Cinta Rasa Sidadi Bread Factory, Batang Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2023 (p-value = 0.194). It is hoped that business owners will provide strict sanctions for workers who do not use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working, and it is hoped that workers will always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when doing work and comply with existing SOPs.
