PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN PUS (SUAMI) TENTANG METODE KONTRASEPSI PRIA DI DESA SORIMANAON KECAMATAN ANGKOLA MUARATAIS TAHUN 2023

Abstract

Family planning is a way to organize interventions between pregnancies, get births that are desired, avoid unwanted births, control the time of birth in relation to the age of the husband and wife, and determine the number of children in the family. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding to husbands, especially in Sorimanaon Village, about male contraceptive methods, so that they get information about the types of contraceptives that can be used by men. This activity was carried out on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. The activities carried out in the form of counseling to PUS (husbands) about material to increase pus (husband) knowledge about male contraceptive methods in Sorimanaon Village, Angkola Muaratais District. This community service was carried out using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. The results of this community service were received enthusiastically by the participants as seen from the many who asked about the material that had been given. It is recommended that counseling activities to increase PUS (husband) knowledge about male contraceptive methods can be carried out more often so that husbands can choose the right contraception and actively participate in using contraception.
