Abstract

Old age is an unavoidable aging process, humans grow old through a process that initially starts from infants, children, adolescents, adults and then grows old. Everyone will certainly experience the process of getting old and this is the last period of human life. The large number of elderly people in Indonesia in the future will have both positive and negative impacts. Positive impact, if the elderly population is in a healthy, active and productive condition. On the other hand, the large number of the elderly population becomes a burden if the elderly have health problems which result in an increase in health care costs, a decrease in income/income, an increase in disability, the absence of social support and an environment that is not friendly to the elderly population (Ministry of Health, 2017). The method used by conducting surveys and interviews for data collection, data analysis, data presentation, formulating discussions and then providing communication, information and education (KIE) is carried out by 2 methods, namely online using applications including SMS, zoom, WA and other applications. . And the direct way is to hold counseling by complying with health protocols.
