Abstract

The impact of not breastfeeding on infants is an increase in susceptibility to diseases of both mothers and infants (IPS, 2016). The purpose of this study is to determine the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about the benefits of mung bean juice to increase breast milk production in Salambue Village, Padangsidimpuan Tenggara District in 2023. The benefits of research can add insight and knowledge as well as valuable experience for researchers This study is descriptive by using total sampling where a sample of 30 respondents using questionnaires based on age, education, occupation, parity, sources of information. Based on the results of research from 30 respondents, frequency distribution was obtained based on knowledge less than 28 people (93.3%), the majority of knowledge less aged 26-35 years, 21 people (70.0%), the majority of knowledge less high school education 18 people (60.0%), the majority of knowledge lacks IRT work 24 (80.0%), the majority of knowledge lacks parity of 12 people (40.0%), the majority of knowledge lacks electronic media information sources 24 people (80.0%). The results of the study concluded that the majority of knowledge of breastfeeding mothers about the Benefits of Green Bean Juice to Increase Breast Milk Production is still not expected for breastfeeding mothers to increase knowledge about the Benefits of Green Bean Juice to Increase Breast Milk Production through health workers, electronic media, and print media.
